Clous CLI Integration

Use the packaged clous CLI from sdk/python for scripts, CI, and AI-agent automation.

Workflow

  1. Configure credentials with env vars: CLOUS_API_BASE_URL, CLOUS_API_KEY, or CLOUS_ACCESS_TOKEN.
  2. Use JSON input with --data or @file.json; never depend on prompts in automation.
  3. Prefer explicit resources: info, objects, agents, a2a, and mcp.
  4. Capture stdout as JSON and stderr as diagnostics.
  5. Treat non-zero exits as blocking unless the command was explicitly exploratory.

Agent Safety

  • Use read commands before writes.
  • Use a scoped key for automation.
  • Store generated files outside shared repos unless the user asked to persist them.
