Agent Skills: paper-hunt

This skill should be used when finding, verifying, retrieving, triaging, or reading academic papers in computer science and AI/ML/LLM research. It routes each intent to the right source (OpenAlex, arXiv, Crossref, DBLP, ACL Anthology, publisher indexes), proves a paper exists before it reaches a bibliography, resolves between DOI / arXiv ID / DBLP key / OpenAlex ID, walks a legitimate access ladder from "this paper exists" to "PDF on disk", and supplies a 5-minute keep/drop triage plus structured reading passes and a snowballing procedure. Triggers on "find papers about X", "does this paper exist", "verify these citations", "search the literature", "get me the PDF for", "who cites this paper", "is this arxiv ID real", "find a survey on X", "look up this DOI", "papers from ICSE 2025", "is this paper worth reading", "how do I read this paper", "triage these papers", "should I keep or drop this". It also indexes the papers already in the project so it can answer "do we already have this paper", "what do my papers say about X", "which papers cover topic Y", "what is my corpus about", "what do my papers cite that I don't have" — using local embeddings plus keyword search over the existing library, with no external service.
